BRITS are celebrating as Benidorm reopens the beloved Tiki Beach bar after a court battle forced it to shut down “for good”, as it becomes the “bar with no name”.

Spanish judges ordered the closure of the controversial pub last September.

The massively popular haunt was ordered to close “for good” after years of complaints from neighbours.

It was a massive favourite with Brits for daytime as well as evening drinking until party-pooping Spanish judges called time.

But now the boozy bar is back in business as a video posted on Friday shows it packed with punters.

A clip posted on Facebook shows dozens of people downing booze at the bar’s “opening party”.

People have taken to social media to announce their joy at the reopening of the boozer.

Liz Len wrote: “Great news…had some amazing days and nights in there. Hope to have some more.”

“So glad it’s reopened can’t wait to visit again in August with my Hubby”

Christine Arthur added: “So glad it’s reopened can’t wait to visit again in August with my Hubby. we loved it last August. Happy days.”

But Donny Armstrong warned that the bar was noisy again and so residents “won’t like it”.

People were devastated as they arrived for a holiday break during the February half-term to find it closed and reduced to a building site.

Kirsha Knowles, 42, of Newcastle, said: “I have come on holiday with my husband, 12-year-old daughter and my mam and dad and we walked to the front to see Tiki Beach.

“I was absolutely devastated to see it has closed. Its frontage is covered by big black sheets and workmen are inside.

“The tables and chairs are gone and things are being ripped out.”

Karen Hamilton, of Whitley Bay, told the Newcastle Chronicle that the popular holiday destination wouldn’t be the same without the Tiki Bar.

A spokesman for the management said the bar will “always be known as the Tiki Beach”, the Sun Online reports.
