A dozen offers have come to the City of Benidorm to opt for the archaeological interventions that will be undertaken in the Roman site of the ‘ castellum ‘ of La Cala and the Castle area .

The envelopes with the economic proposals have been opened on the morning of this Tuesday and now it will be the technicians who, in a few days, will decide on the most beneficial offers.

As for the excavations and musealization in the Roman fort of Tossal de La Cala , seven companies have attended the tender and, in the absence of the award, the most economical offer has been submitted by Urbana de Exteriores, which offers a reduction in the price of 11.13 percent.

The tender to award the contract for the intervention in the Castle has received three offers, of which the lowest has been the Temporary Union of Companies (UT) formed by Orthem and Wenceslao Garcia SA, with a low on the base budget of 15.9, according to the information collected by the agency Efe.

Both actions will begin in the next days once awarded and must be completed before November.

Both will be financed thanks to the line of aid for the protection or recovery of the Valencian cultural heritage of the ERDF Operational Program and through municipal funds.

The intervention in La Cala is valued at around 500,000 euros and plans to act on the entire surface of the site and its subsequent musealization.

In the Castle, the recovery of the archaeological remains has been valued at 1.2 million euros and will be the first intervention carried out in the area.

On the other hand, today it has also been known that thirteen companies have concurred in the adjudication of the drafting of the project for the construction of the multi-use pavilion at the Leonor Canalejas school.

This project started with a base bidding budget of 175,489.28 euros. The most economical offer has been presented by Sanna Arquitectura – Tomás Llavador Architects and Engineers, with a price of 78,712.36 euros, which represents a drop of more than 50% over the base bidding budget.
